Operations Assistant
The Operations Assistant with Sheffield Metals will demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, utilizing Lean Six Sigma Principles for continuous improvement to train, motivate and engage employees that will define a standard of Operational Excellence of a Sales Driven Organization.

Qualifications
Education
A high school diploma or GED is required; at least 2 years in an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience & Skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt (black belt a plus) or Lean training preferred, with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in conflict resolution, direct labor utilization, budgeting, maintaining equipment, maintenance schedules of mission critical equipment
- Ability to identify bottlenecks and determine effective solutions
- Ability to identify cost savings strategies and implement promptly and effectively
- Requires solid written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
