Overview
Tax Analyst
The Tax Analyst will assist with compliance, workpaper development, account reconciliation, audit support, and tax-notice responses. In addition, this position will work on various registrations and license renewals. The Tax Analyst will support the tax manager to complete work timely and effectively to enhance the support of the internal tax team.

Qualifications
Education:
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting is preferred; in lieu of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an accounting role, where several years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
Experience & Skills:
- 1-3 years of tax accounting or sales tax reporting is preferred but not required
- Experience working within an accounting and financial reporting area
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting theories, principles, methods, practices, and terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience using ERP Systems, NetSuite/Avalara experience preferred
- Possess and display excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Highly reliable, proactive self-starter; can be counted on to complete assignments on time
- Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify
