Peer Reviewers Execute Peer Reviews Of CPA Firms To Monitor a CPA Firm's Accounting And Auditing Practice To Promote Quality In The Accounting And Auditing Services Provided By The Firms. - Completing peer reviews by analyzing client firms' records, processes, and client engagements to identify potential issues and performing research to present proposed solutions.
- Communicating and meeting with firms regarding findings and providing recommendations to assist firms in implementing best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA certification.
- Experience as a Peer Reviewer at a CPA firm or 5 years of recent public accounting firm audit supervisor, manager, or higher experience with interest in becoming a Peer Reviewer.
- Experience with ERISA and yellow book regulations.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions desired.
- Willingness to travel to complete onsite reviews for clients when needed.
