We are currently seeking Part Time Concierge for Sky Ridge in Gilbert AZ.
This position is responsible for supporting the front desk operations, assisting residents with their needs, and handling community inquiries. Duties include, responding to resident requests, general safety and security, escalating high-level complaints, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the common areas, performing administrative duties, and emergency response.
\n- Light cleaning of common areas on the property (includes, but is not limited to: public bathroom areas, lobby areas, main office area, recreational areas- 2nd/3rd floors; to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, discard waste/trash into proper containers, etc.). Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Follow all established techniques, procedures and policies for properly storing, using and mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning, and for the proper disposal of waste.
- Keep work areas attractive and free of hazardous objects such as protruding mop/broom handles, and unnecessary equipment – putting all equipment away as soon as the job that requires it is finished.
- Light cleaning of common areas on the property (includes, but is not limited to: public bathroom areas, lobby areas, main office area, recreational areas- 2nd/3rd floors; to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, discard waste/trash into proper containers, etc.). Assist with other duties as assigned.

- Responsible for answering community phone with a courteous and friendly voice.
- Conducts safety and security inspections of all community property to include common areas, resident corridors, parking areas (from inside) and perimeter access
- Patrols community buildings as scheduled and record time inspections if required.
- Examines doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are secured
- Investigates all incidents and suspicious occurrences and filling an incident report if required
- Responds to all security calls and complaints, taking necessary action and handling on scene emergency situations.
- Secures and unlocks areas and buildings in accordance with policy and community expectation
- Notifies appropriate agencies in situations where their emergency response and support is necessary
- Sounds alarm and or calls police/fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Assist in emergency response procedures as per community policy
- Responds to resident call lights immediately
- Reviews, reads, notates and initializes daily log to document and learn about pertinent information
- Assists residents with packages such as but not limited to groceries, mail and newspapers.
- Delivers items to residents in accordance with community policy
- Practices positive resident and guest relations; ensures that appropriate resident and guest feedback is communicated to supervisor
- Take meal orders for the dining room and assist with meal safety checks.
- 2 years of job related experience preferred
- Age over 18 years
- Background clearance as required by government regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while demonstrating time management
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
- Must be mobile and able to execute the physical demands of the position
- Must be able to lift 25-40 pounds or greater
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout day and throughout community
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to bend, knee, stoop, push, pull, repetitive motion, etc.
- Requires frequent carrying, pushing and pulling
