1.1 We are looking for a Maintenance Clerk to update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems. Maintenance Clerk (Labeling) responsibilities include collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and useable information in our systems.
2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Daily Clerical and bookkeeping duties for the Maintenance Department.
2.2 Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities.
2.3 Evaluate data to improve scheduled maintenance routine to avoid downtime situations.
2.4 Recognize trends and patterns in individual equipment and technicians to assist management team in successful and economical decisions on repair, replacement of equipment.
2.5 Generate reports using excel and MP2
2.6 Scan documents and print files, when needed
2.7 Responsible for creating and managing files, perform internal documentation audits.
2.8 Help develop and implement root cause analysis procedures that will eliminate unnecessary expenses.
2.9 Assist with inventory control of Maintenance supplies.
2.10 Assist the Maintenance Planner with scheduling in the Labeling department
3.0 QUALIFICATIONS & Requirements
3.1 Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
3.2 Experience with MS Office and data programs
3.3 Experience using office equipment, printer, and scanner
3.4 Typing speed and accuracy
3.5 Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
3.6 Attention to detail
3.7 Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
3.8 Capable of working in a fast paced environment
3.9 High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
4.0 LANGUAGE SKILLS
4.1 Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal and state laws, legal documents, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
4.2 Strong ability to communicate with others with written and verbal communication
5.0 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
5.1 Ability to perform advanced calculations and formulas.
6.0 REASONING ABILITY
6.1 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
