Job Summary: The primary purpose of the job is driving a truck to deliver construction equipment, materials and supplies to job sites, branch locations and customers in a safe an efficient manner. Also, assists branch operation staff in warehousing, sales, customer service and training.

Job Duties:
- Verify load against shipping papers, pick material and load truck in the assigned, appropriate order of delivery.
- Communicate with branch manager and other staff members to effect minimal errors and maintaining adequate inventory.
- Deliver and pickup merchandise, supplies and equipment to/from customers.
- Adhere to federal regulations regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials, maintain vehicle and vehicle log(s) according to state and federal regulations.
- Load/unload truck ensuring safe transfer of equipment and material; inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, gates, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water and perform any needed periodic maintenance.
- Assist when needed in store and warehouse with loading and unloading material and inventory recording.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Outgoing, friendly personality
- High school diploma or GED
- Class B CDL Driver's License
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
- forklift experience is preferred, but not required as we will train.
