- Form sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures by properly following/reading layout (independently)
- Safely strip wall form systems
- Safely build wall form and deck form systems
- Safely form stairs
- Recognize hazards and danger zones
- Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs
- Complete required training to use personal arrest system
- Assist other trades when necessary
- Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments
- Able to plan and execute work with minimum supervision
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and lay out (transfer levels, off sets, and set points…etc.)
- Able to identify and differentiate form systems and its components
- Must understand level, plumb, area and volume/square concepts
- Understand construction terminology
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Work in an organized manner
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18
