JOB TITLE: Passenger Service Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Experience with passenger service tires.
· Inspect and test vehicles. Complete preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
· Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; and replacing parts and components.
· Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
· Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
· Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
· Keep shop equipment operational by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
· Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
· Keep a clean service area.

EDUCATION
· High School Degree or GED.
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum age of 18.
· Valid drivers license.
· State Inspection license.
· Must have own tools.
