We are looking for a General Service Technician
McCarthy Tire Service is currently seeking a General Service Technician (Lube Tech) to become an integral part of our team! Duties include inspections, Lube oil and filter changes, tire balance and replacement brakes and service oriented operations on automotive vehicles.

McCarthy Tire Service is currently seeking a General Service Technician (Lube Tech) to become an integral part of our team! Duties include inspections, Lube oil and filter changes, tire balance and replacement brakes and service oriented operations on automotive vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- All Maintenance work such as: Preventive Maintenance -
Oil Changes
Battery Replacement
Headlamp and Bulb Replacement
Wiper Blade Replacement
State inspections
Tire Rotation, Repair or Replacement
Resetting and replacing TPMS
Computer Balancing of tires
Operate Company and Customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
Comfortably lift between 50-75lbs
Perform routine vehicle flush's and OE maintenance - Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Insure all under-car, under-hood and preventive maintenance inspections and reports are complete and accurate. Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack or lift, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle, using proper equipment and safety procedures.
- Keep Work Areas Clean, Organized and Safe
- Previous experience as an automotive General Service, mechanic, or other related fields.
- Knowledge and a passion to work on cars
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Although not required, experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced and detail oriented environment
- Ability to document finding and work performed in detail
- Ability to communicate well with other TEAM members
- Be personally responsible and self-motivated
- Have a sales minded, customer service focus
- State Inspection License a plus!
