What We Need:

We are looking for an experienced fiberglass technician to work in our tooling department. As the Tooler, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fiberglass molds. This role supports the production operations to ensure the organization is able to keep up with production demand and meet quality needs. 

Are you:

• Mechanically inclined and Detail Oriented.
• Familiar with fiberglass, tooling and laminating materials.
• Team player enjoy collaborating with others.

As the Tooler you will be responsible repairing and modifying existing molds to ensure production and quality meet customer specifications.

A Day in the Life of:

• Uses various hand/power tools and adhesives to repair/modify tooling and fixturing.
• Touch up Gel Coat repairs.
• Conducts repairs on assembly fixtures as needed.
• Assists assembly department with production work as needed.
• Performs any necessary quality checks, completing associated forms or checklists.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What Makes You Qualified:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.

Must Haves:

• Ability to read, understand and convert decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read metric and imperial measuring tools such as rulers and calipers Technical Skills
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints/drawings. 
• Maximum lifting of 50lbs. (All lifting over 50lbs. requires a team lift)
• Adherence to McClarin PPE requirements.
