```Duties```
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize their tax liability
- Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and financial decisions
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to gather necessary information for tax filings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, and other accounting software
- Proficient in debits, credits, financial accounting, and financial auditing principles
- Experience in public accounting or a similar role is highly desirable
- Familiarity with payroll processing and reporting
- Understanding of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
