McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE) is seeking a Project Manager/Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for engineering design and other duties for a wide variety of infrastructure improvements including roadway, water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects across Arkansas and parts of Oklahoma. This position will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects with an effective design team while also gaining valuable knowledge from experienced Civil Engineers.

Summary
Project managers are first point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising from within the heads of various departments in an organization before the problem escalates to higher authorities, as project representative.
This position will be responsible for water/wastewater projects across Arkansas and parts of Oklahoma. The Project Manager manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs. The Project Manager approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project. In addition, the Project Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan, and provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Mentoring entry and mid-level engineers within the department. This position is also responsible for developing the project budget.

This job operates in a professional office environment and outside for site visits. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other office equipment.
Travel
Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit sites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are generally not required.

The pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but could be higher based on education and experience. Please note, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each opening. We take into consideration the minimum requirements outlined in the job description, such as an individual’s education, training and experience, the position’s work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions when determining the final salary for potential new hires.
