This new hire will work in a hybrid capacity located at 24 Schilling Road, in Hunt Valley, MD. The Brand Strategy Manager will report to a Marketing Director.

The Product Manager I – Brand Strategy, will be responsible for improving brand strategies for both North American brands and Global Brands. This includes supporting brand tool creation, updating positioning, strategic analysis, research and creating or updating brand books. This involves gathering and analyzing data, identifying consumer insights, competitive analysis, and collaborating cross functionally.
Responsibilities
- Develops brand tools and brand books for both North American and Global Brands.
- Analyzes and gathers consumer research and market data to inform recommendations
- Organizes and leads working sessions
- Writes positioning statements
- Ensures alignment of strategies with cross functional teams, including Business teams in all regions, internal creative teams, product development, etc.
- Project leads with external agencies the creation of brand books
- Provides information and slides for key presentations (CAGNY, BOD, quarterly updates, etc)
- Creates and delivers presentations across regions and to upper management
- Supports Global Marketing Director in any other projects needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Combined minimum of 3 years Marketing or/and Strategy Consulting experience
- Demonstrated relevant skills & results in consumer-packaged goods marketing and brand strategy

- Experience leading and collaborating with across functions
- Experience formulating brand strategies
- Business analysis, KPI development, plan implementations
- Highly skilled at creating power point presentations and using excel for data analysis
- Expertise in syndicated databases, market research, business and brand planning, finance and communications
- Strong personal and team leadership; effective influencer to upper management and peers
- Able to be excellent at strategic thinking while being action oriented
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit: optimistic, natural owner, proactive, able to adapt and create new processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Outstanding written and verbal communication (clear and concise),
- Able to interact with multiple personalities and multiple cultures
- Fast and autonomous learner that can manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail, highly organized and excellent follow through
