McCready Law was founded in 1999 to help the injured in and around Chicago and Indiana. The firm today has four offices serving clients in various areas of personal injury law. McCready Law has built a solid reputation and has enjoyed significant growth over the years. We have outsourced our bookkeeping for many years. Our law firm has grown in size that it is more practical to have a full time in house bookkeeper. We are hiring for a bookkeeping position for our office at 10008 S. Western Avenue in Chicago.

Quickbooks skills and past experience preferred, though not necessarily with a law firm. No experience, but a recent accounting or finance graduate? We can train you!

Job requirements include, but not limited to:

• Entering client expenses and running client expense reports
• Authorizing Positive Pay daily
• Deposits and disbursements from Client Trust Account
• Managing electronic bill payment
• Uploading credit card statements
• Reconciling accounts
• Prepare ACH disbursements
• Entries for payroll and benefits
• Manage referral fees paid on cases

We have strong systems in place for all bookkeeping duties. Pay based on experience. Must be able to work in a collegial team orientated environment.
