Job Posting for Production Assistant at McGinty Bros., Inc.
The Production Assistant will help the Office Manager and Project Manager oversee various aspects of job production such as procuring materials for projects, maintaining and organizing materials for projects, etc.
Duties will include:
Assisting crews getting necessary materials in the yard each morning
Unloading and organizing plant material
Maintaining plant material stored in yard to keep plants thriving
Organizing and maintaining seed inventory
Picking up materials for projects as necessary
Maintaining and organizing safety supplies for all crew members
Organizing and coordinating of inventory small tools
Keeping up-to-date inventory of materials and equipment in yard
Taking pictures of completed projects as needed
Measuring projects as needed
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain insurability with McGinty’s fleet carrier
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with common computer software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook email, internet, etc. a plus
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
Working knowledge of landscape construction a plus
Working knowledge of plant maintenance a plus
Ability to operate skidsteer to unload material as necessary a plus

Type: Full time, seasonal with availability to work 45-50 hours per week Monday through Friday with limited Saturdays possible during the busy season
