“A Day in the Life”
As a Dispatcher you will be the backbone of our Drivers and communication is key! While you won’t be behind the wheel of a big rig, you are instrumental working hard behind the scenes to ensure that truck drivers meet their appointed arrival times and destinations. Just like an air traffic controller keeps planes rolling on the runway and safely in the air, the Truck Dispatchers job is to make sure our Truck Drivers gets where it needs to go safely and to keep our customers happy!
“What You’ll Do”
- Customer Service
- Coordination of equipment movement
- Direct support of sales team
- Negotiation with vendors and customers
- Project management and problem resolution
- Written communication with customers and vendors
- Procurement
“Must Haves”
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and customers
- Customer service experience, utilizing strong inter-personal skills
- Experience managing multiple and high-level priorities simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Preference for working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, professional demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Experience/Education Required/Desired:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word Required, Outlook, and PowerPoint a plus
- 2 plus years experience working in a professional business environment required
- Dispatching drivers and vendor haulers experience a plus, along with DOT regulations knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or associates degree preferred
Special Considerations:

Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
- Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities
