This Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and management of various office upfit and construction projects. The candidate most closely aligned with the role will have a combination of project management and design experience. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, experience with furniture specifications and AutoCAD are ideal as well.

Responsibilities
- Serves as project manager or participates as part of a project team for space and facility projects to include working with construction contractors, furniture vendors, and moving companies to:
- Reviewing plans and specifications to ensure they meet specific requirements.
- Establishing project schedules and monitoring progress from initial stage through completion including move in.
- When acting as project manager:
- Coordinates with internal departments and external vendors to provide and communicate needs to architectural and engineering consultants.
- Coordinates security installations and any move processes.
- Participates in selection process of various consultants/vendors for the project.
- Create Polylines within AutoCAD.
- Prepares purchase orders for purchasing of FF&E to ensure asset are properly described for input and/or upload into asset tracking system and Accounting’s fixed asset system.
- Participates in annual budget process for accounts specific to Space and Facilities.
- Using AutoCAD, creates test fits and prepares base plans for use with the firm’s facilities management software.
Qualifications
- Requires Associate’s degree or equivalent from a technical school; or five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training. Experience with AutoCAD is required.
- A combination of project management and design experience, detailed reporting and working within a team environment. Previous legal or professional services environment experience is a plus.
- Ability to analyze architectural/construction issues and to comprehend a wide range of architectural/construction concepts, principles and practices is needed.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of attorneys, managers, and staff.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
- Ability to travel to other offices as required (extended stays are rare, but more than 2 weeks in one location is possible).
