We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager in the North American Finance Shared Services (NAFSS) Transformation Office (PMO). Responsible for managing projects involving department, cross-functional teams, or multiple business units focused on the delivery of a product or program. Responsible for end-to-end project management from initiation through monitoring and control. Oversees and coordinates all aspects of project and serves as manager for project team who are the liaison between the PMO, line management and other departments. Ensures the implementation of PMO governance, project measurement and monitoring, and controls required to monitor the overall health of the project and performance to the business case. Implements risk management process to assess project risks and issues. Leads the effort with the project team to develop risk and issue mitigation to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. May oversee customer business requirements, providing non-technical and some technical support and direction. This position is in a matrix type of organization, where the position does not have direct responsibility over resources and systems development but does have overall project management responsibility. Position Summary/Key Responsibilities Provide oversight / manage / lead, business process integration, transition projects, and technology projects and activities of defined span and complexity. Lead and direct strategic project execution. These can be multi-year efforts and could involve system re-platform, business process re-design and process transition / integration. Maintain project portfolio and pipeline of projects; leverage SmartSheet usage to provide BU level views Influence and gain commitment for initiatives and recommendations from multiple stakeholders Work collaboratively within all partners, including the business, McKesson Technology, FP&A and Six Sigma teams to identify opportunities within the NAFSS team and to prepare and track business case/ROI for strategic initiatives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, may direct the work of others without formal management responsibilities. Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts. Provide executive level presentation updates on initiatives Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed Identify opportunities to evolve the Project Management methodology and playbook Identify synergies to optimize project collaboration and communication Continued focus on developing self and others through demonstration of Project management best practices Change Management/Leadership experience (stakeholder analysis/impact/engagement, communication Minimum Requirements Business Experience – 7 years related professional experience 5 years of Project Management experience Critical Skills Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet or a similar project management tool Experience in finance, accounting or IT Experience managing programs of multiple projects with interdependencies Strong business acumen and technology background. Excellent project management skills including prioritization, schedule / critical path management, communication, and change management. Knowledge and experience with different project management frameworks Ability to collaborate, influence and gain commitment from multiple stakeholders. Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to all levels of the organization. Excellent meeting and workshop facilitation skills, with proven success in fostering attendee participation and collaboration Excellent Teamwork and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt and to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment. Results driven and strategic thinker.
