We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Data Quality Analyst to join our team and provide expert support for the implementation and development of the CoverMyMeds data quality management program.

Our ideal candidate would be based in Columbus, OH near our CoverMyMeds headquarters, but we will consider a highly-qualified, fully-remote candidate.

What You'll Do

As a Sr. Data Quality Analyst, your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here's a snapshot of what to expect:

  • Own the development, implementation, and ongoing support of a comprehensive data quality strategy and framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Create metrics and KPIs to measure data quality and provide regular executive presentations on data health across all data domains.

  • Provide oversight and accountability for all data quality projects and activities.

  • Partner with data management leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to influence the integration of data quality practices throughout the data lifecycle.

  • Develop and provide training to data stewards, data producers, and consumers on data quality principles, tools, and best practices.

  • Own the relationship and development roadmap for technology vendor partners supporting data quality management.

  • Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data quality rules are documented and maintained and that practices are compliant with relevant regulations.

  • Regularly review and refine data quality processes and tools to stay aligned with the evolving business needs and industry standards.

  • Champion the importance of data quality throughout the organization, ensuring its recognition as a business priority.

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or computer science or other data related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of data governance or data management

  • Proficiency with popular data quality tools and platforms (e.g., Ataccama, Talend etc.)

  • Ability to design and implement frameworks to identify, measure, and correct data quality issues.

  • Skills in examining, assessing, and reporting on the current status of data quality within the organization.

  • Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques to ensure quality throughout the data movement processes.

  • Knowledge in languages like Python, R, SQL, etc., for custom data quality checks or integrations.

  • Experience with various databases, understanding their structure, and potential quality pitfalls.

  • Ability to work with various departments, stakeholders, and business users to understand their data quality needs and concerns.

  • Ability to develop strategies to correct identified data quality issues.

  • Effective communication to convey the importance of data quality, present findings, and recommend improvements.

  • Ability to address complex data quality challenges and devise appropriate strategies to mitigate them.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools for deeper insights into data quality metrics and trends.

  • Experience with cloud-based data quality solutions or platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.

  • Experience with master data management tools and processes.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,300 - $173,800
