Current Need: We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, BU Capital o join our team in Irving, TX, Alpharetta, GA or Columbus, OH Position Description: The Sr. Financial Analyst, BU Capital is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics for the business unit capital investment performance. This role will include responsibilities across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, reporting and analyses in support of capital investments for various Business Units (BU). The Sr Financial Analyst will manage $250 million of capital, as well as be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs. As a key financial liaison, the Sr Financial Analyst will partner with the various departments across the business unit. Key Responsibilities Perform the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variance Prepare reporting packages (Close report, CFO month end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules) Generate models of key business drivers for annual and strategic planning (forecasting analyses of project timing, changes in capital drivers such as in service dates, and useful life) Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes. Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of key business stakeholders. Review planning, long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting for capital expenditures based on BU input Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and NA FSS Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership Minimum Requirements 4 years of relevant experience. Degree or equivalent. Critical Skills 4 years of Finance experience required Excellent knowledge of capital interdependencies; capex, depreciation, in service dates, etc. Excellent knowledge of financial statements Experience with generating management reports, SG&A budgeting, and capital planning Moderate experience working with FP&A systems such as TM1 and BPC is preferred Experience with PowerBI or Tableau preferred SAP experience preferred Previous healthcare or Pharma experience preferred Advanced MS Office 365 proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) Specialized Knowledge/Skills Attention to detail and demonstration of quick follow-up to study needs, commits to quality Ability to work with businesses across geographies Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – this position interfaces with senior executives on a regular basis Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and managerial skills Advanced Excel, Proficient PowerPoint Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment Education Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting MBA preferred Physical Requirements: General Office Demands Must be authorized to work in the US.
