McKinstry is innovating the waste and climate harm out of the built environment and creating lasting impact. Together, we’re building a thriving planet.

Buildings are a leading contributor to the climate crisis, generating nearly 40% of total global energy-related carbon emissions. We’re making a lasting impact on our industry and within our communities by addressing the climate, affordability and equity crises through:

  • renewables and energy services
  • engineering and design
  • construction and facility services

To get where we’re going, we need big thinkers, problem solvers and collaborative mindsets. Does that sound like you?

The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are seeking a Program Manager based in the Southeast to lead and grow our National Technical Services team.

McKinstry’s Technical Services group has seven go-to-market offerings, one of which is a data-driven Facility Condition Assessment. When it comes to long-term capital planning, the last thing you need is unrealistic pricing or a lack of actionable information. McKinstry alleviates this risk through our unique Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) approach, during which we analyze the condition of building systems based on age, design, construction methods, and materials. We bring expertise and accuracy in facilities design, construction, operations and maintenance to every FCA.

As a Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting and Support: Assist business development team members to identify potential consulting clients, discover client issues, obstacles and goals. Work with all stakeholders to clearly understand clients’ situation, requirements, and constraints.
  • Project Development, Deployment, and Support: Coordinate with internal and external resources for implementation and management of our support services. Develop Technical Services outcomes and work with clients to take them to action.
  • Operational Excellence and Communication: Act as a main point of contact for client communication, while building and maintaining relationships to achieve a high level of satisfaction. Develop professional relationships, present reports, and document best practices and lessons learned to improve design and operational practices.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry:

  • Knowledge and experience in energy efficiency and/or sustainability programs preferred. Energy consulting experience or education required.
