The Product Specialist assists, supports, and processes product and freight transactions for all of the 600 Series foodservice distribution centers.

• Review and audit all purchase orders and invoices for pricing and related charges.
• Provide assistance to vendors, DC Managers, Corporate and DC personnel.
• Refer all customer inquiries that require escalation directly to a member of the management team.
• Review daily product and freight invoices to ensure applicable charges are allocated to proper general ledger accounts and payment to vendor is correct.
• Issue the necessary deduction letters to vendors for any discrepancies such as shorts/damages, pricing and freight, and/or backhaul; work with the DC personnel to ensure proper adjustments are made for all receiving issues.
• This position has additional responsibilities. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor’s discretion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Be competent with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
