Under the direction of the Regional Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, participates in the development and implementation of comprehensive internal and external marketing plans, strategic planning, program development including: budgeting, marketing, new service identification and physician recruitment. Collaborates with other organizational Leaders to cultivate sources of referrals and identify new service offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with Regional Marketing VP to develop business and marketing plans, strategies, tactics and associated budgets to achieve the principle goal of volume and market share growth.
- Responsible for developing and implementing all marketing research information gathering programs.
- Serves as technical resource in resolving complex problems and in investigating and recommending corrective actions in response to complaints.
- Responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational business development and physician relationship activities, working closely with marketing and leadership.
- Provides market feedback to leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generates product/service development ideas.
- Drives increased revenue and profit to achieve growth objectives.
- Plans and coordinates the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
- Collaborates with other leaders to develop marketing campaigns.
- Collaborates and leads determination of need and cost benefit analyses for proposed new programs, equipment and service offerings.
- Develops the annual budget. Ensures that it is tracked and adhered to.
- Performs other related duties as required and directed.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health care administration or related field.
- Five years of business-raising and development experience including three years in a leadership/clinical management role in a hospital or physician office/clinic.
- Previous experience working with physicians and hospital executives in marketing or public/community relations environment as a strategic partner.
PREFERRED
- Master’s degree in business administration or health care administration.
