The Technical Writer will work directly with subject matter experts (and their associated research materials) to develop, write, and edit technical content including reports, manuals, briefs, memos, and related publications. These scientific and technical publications document research and development as well as installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. The Technical Writer works on deadline on multiple projects to produce publications that are consistent, concise, and clear.
This qualified candidate may perform the following tasks:
Additional writing and editing experience outside of technical and science areas is desired but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with some background in journalism, public affairs, or marketing/public relations are preferred.
Requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical writing and editing.
Able to obtain US Security Clearance
