Position Summary:

Perform thorough analysis to provide insight and recommend solutions to meaningful problems the business is facing and then develop and execute the solutions to those problems This position will act as liaison between the business and operation functions and the IT department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Writing and translating business user stories into detailed business requirement documentation (JIRA)
  • Write detailed user test cases that will ensure all scenarios are thoroughly tested to support successful software releases
  • Understanding the business operational processes and provide insight to software solutions that will drive efficiencies and improvements to business operations
  • Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
  • Using Power BI to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats and to monitor data quality to remove corrupt data
  • Assist in designing, developing, and delivering solutions that drive improvements in usability, process improvement and performance and scalability
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in requirements and analysis: process improvement, user experience design, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization in a professional manner and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Leadership mindset to drive strategy, results and accountability in your problem space while generating engagement and buy-in from your team members and stakeholders
  • Prioritize work effectively to run multiple projects simultaneously

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • Generally, prefer minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Aptitude (Ability) and interest in learning new tools and technical skills.
  • Advanced dashboard building experience with Power BI.
  • High technical proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience working with Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Organization skills necessary to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and pay attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently
  • Effectively work well under pressure with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Trucking transportation knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is primarily in an office environment, but will require the need to walk between buildings in an outdoor environment on occasion
  • Frequent sitting, standing and use of hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
  • Ability to climb in and out of a commercial motor vehicle as needed
  • Capable of climbing stairs daily to reach the main office
