Position Overview :
The Retail Application Manager will manage software applications and systems upgrades within MCM NCSA and EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a vital retail solution deployment, data management, application administration, and troubleshooting background.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze business operations and determine which software applications could improve efficiency.
- Make recommendations on whether to upgrade the current or install new systems.
- Monitor the roll-out of new software applications to ensure there are no problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with business application software.
- Create and oversee protocols and procedures for using any new software applications.
- Support training in using any new software applications and maintain a good work atmosphere.
- Create, execute, and maintain company databases with retail solutions.
- Maintain the latest software developments.
Experience & Key Competencies :
- Bachelor’s degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience working as an IT specialist, especially in front-end applications.
- Broad working knowledge of computer networking, installation, and administration.
- Experience with database management and project management.
- Excellent technical skills.
- The ability to retain the latest software developments.
- Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.
- Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to handle stressful situations and apply agile methodology.
