Job Description:
Our insurance agents enroll new members into the most appropriate plans that match the needs of prospective customers. In this role, you will provide personalized life and health insurance solutions and help customers make informed decisions. The most successful agents generate a network of referrals, regularly meet with potential and current customers, and proactively communicate with customers to confirm their needs are being met. The goal is to build up lasting positive relationships, ensure growth, and make others want to do business with us. The ability to obtain a Life & Health insurance license is required. As a member of our team, you will have access to a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to bring our products and services to the customer - whether virtually or in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact leads and schedule appointments to recommend appropriate policies, quotes, and coverages
- Evaluating individual customer needs and financial status and proposing plans that meet their criteria
- Grow and maintain business through product sales, cross-sales, referrals, and renewals
- Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
Desired Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Excellent presentation skills, powerful communication ability
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships
- Sales experience with a focus on prospecting and lead generation
- Expertise in insurance sales, and familiarity with life and health insurance
- Licensure as an insurance agent in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Missouri
- Ability to work with and educate clients of varying backgrounds to ensure understanding of policy details and coverage
- Ability to develop strong relationships with a track record of delivering on the expectations of stakeholders and customers.
Required Job Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to work with goals
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence, and sell effectively
- Ability to stay current on sales and marketing techniques and changes in state and federal law that affect the company’s sales efforts and impact the insurance industry
The compensation offered for this role is commission-based. Leads and opportunities to sell will be provided by the agency’s marketing. Closed sales will be paid a commission between $80-$110.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen. Completion of HIPPA training is also required after onboarding.
