recently added an e-commerce presence that spans designer clothing, accessories, beauty, and home. McMullen’s
vision is to become the next major e-commerce fashion and lifestyle brand, with a focus on diverse designers – we
are looking for team members who can help us achieve that vision.
About the role
McMullen is a growing startup, and the Distribution Center Manager will be responsible for helping prep outgoing
shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new
orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations, and
documenting damages to inventory. Under the supervision of the COO, the Distribution Center Manager will
oversee all operations of the DC, as well as supply needs for the store(s). Responsibilities include:
- Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies
- Manage inventory in Shopify to ensure quantities are entered and items are moved to the appropriate tags
- Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Promptly unpack and pack shipments
- Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily product moves, incoming and going inventory and supplies
- Develop and implement strategies with the buying, sales, operations, and marketing teams to deliver
- Ensure the overall organization and cleanliness of the McMullen DC
- Manage supply needs for both store and DC
- Work closely with e-commerce photographer and social media/content manager on photo shoots
- Ensuring that Logistics fulfills all orders in a timely manner (24-48 hours)
- Making sure logistics has all product ticketed and steamed before going out on the floor (24-48 hours)
Experience receiving and prepping incoming and outgoing stock
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to adjust seamlessly to change
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time management and urgency of delivery schedules
- Ability to work independently and within a team
