DEPARTMENT: Department of Chemistry and Physics

POSITION INFORMATION: This is a full-time, unclassified, 9–month, unclassified, non-tenure track position. The appointment begins August 2024.

POSITION NUMBER: F99625

SALARY: $48,757

Position Duties/Responsibilities

The Instructor of Physics is responsible for functions related to teaching physics at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum including labs, physical science course, calculus and non-calculus based physics course, and potentially upper level course depending on the need. The Instructor will work closely with faculty and students.

Transcripts from Foreign Universities: Prospective faculty submitting transcripts from foreign universities or schools must have the coursework evaluated for equivalency to United States-accredited coursework by a University-approved agency. The prospective faculty member is responsible for the cost of the evaluation. McNeese typically accepts evaluations by World Education Services ( or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.
