SUMMARY: The Multi Unit Director of Sales is responsible for the total sales and marketing efforts of 2 hotels. They develop and implement sales strategies to identify new business and further penetrate existing accounts resulting in revenue and market share growth for specific hotel portfolios.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years in hotels sales preferred. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
Skills: Multi Unit Directors of Sales possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors and associates), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity. (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.) They must have thorough knowledge of negotiation and sales procedures as they relate to the hotel industry. The Multi Unit Director of Sales must be a strong team player as well as master the ability to work independently. Must possess a high level of prioritizing/organization capabilities to achieve objectives, oversee multiple projects and manage direct reports.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be a part of a fast-moving environment that can be challenging to meet budget goals and beat competitors in the market to grow hotels’ RevPAR index.

Internal: General Manager, Peers, Chief Engineer, Sales Manager, line level associates and Field Operations at the corporate level
External: Guests: To provide customer service
