The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the execution and accuracy of cash transactions across Regent’s platform of retailers, including Club Monaco, La Senza and Escada. Reporting to the Finance Director at our NY location, the Treasury Analyst offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment in the retail industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Treasury Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing all cash management transactions
- Resolving cash issues in a timely manner
- Determining each company’s cash position and developing short-term cash flow forecasts
- Executing wire transfers and other fundings necessary to balance each company’s daily cash position
- Compiling cash reports
- Posting daily cash activities
- Performing daily bank account reconciliation
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders within and outside of Treasury in relation to collections and disbursements activities
- Performing timely and accurate processing of electronic fund transfers
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of disbursements
- Initiating and requesting approvals for ad-hoc payments
- Preparing repetitive payment templates
- Reviewing payment confirmations
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving all payment-related issues
- Supporting check writing requirements and activities
- Maintaining accurate bank account records and supporting documentation
- Reviewing and analysing bank fees to identify discrepancies and opportunities to reduce operational costs
- Proactively identifying opportunities and proposing process improvements to increase efficiency of daily tasks
- Supporting modifications of existing or implementations of new disbursements and collections capabilities, including processes and infrastructure

- Working knowledge of cash collections and disbursements principles, methods, tools, and techniques
- Working knowledge of banking infrastructure, bank communication, and payment clearing systems
- 2 years of related treasury or finance experience
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related field; CTP preferred
- Strong computer skills with experience using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communications, time management, and project management skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience a plus
