Cost Analyst

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• Develop a variety of cost estimating products such as Lifecycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs), Total Ownership Cost (TOC) models, Analysis of Alternatives, Cost as an Independent Variable (CAIV), Cost/Benefit Analysis, and other analysis as assigned;
• Perform data collection and analysis to include, but not limited to, data normalization, learning curve analysis, pareto analysis;
• Perform learning curve and production rate analysis;
• Perform risk analysis and sensitivity studies;
• Participate in technical working groups with engineering, budget, schedule, and acquisition functional team members;
• Manage client relationships and expectations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance
• 3 - 8 years' experience with DoD acquisition systems lifecycle cost analysis, to include major platforms (i.e., ships, aircraft, vehicles), IT systems, and/or communication systems
• BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Science (Physics or Chemistry only), or Mathematics with 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active DoD secret clearance
• Experience working on Navy, Air Force, or Missile Defense Agency acquisition programs
• CCEA certification
• MA/MS degree in Business, Engineering, Science (Physics or Chemistry only), or Mathematics
