Psychotherapist, Day Program

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychotherapist to join our team. As a psychotherapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals with trauma, utilizing our curriculum created from a psychodynamic framework and various other modalities.

Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to support the mental health and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, especially psychodynamic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
• Stay current with research and advancements in the field of psychotherapy

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
• Passion for working with trauma.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychotherapist or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with individuals with trauma preferred
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
• Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic and group therapy
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and its integration into treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
