Job Description:

McVay Foot & Ankle is looking for an Upbeat, Detail-Oriented and Experienced Full Time Medical Assistant to join our busy and growing podiatric practice. We take pride in providing the best service for our patient’s needs by restoring health and mobility. Must be Quick Learner and provide Excellent Patient Care with a desire to work with a compassionate team and fast- paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Orient and greet patients in an enthusiastic manner
  • Taking patient vitals, preforming intakes and documenting in electronic medical record
  • Assisting doctors with in-office procedures
  • Answering phone and scheduling appointments
  • DME fitting and dispensing
  • Taking x-rays
  • Oriented to administrative and clinical aspects of a medical office
  • Verify insurance and obtain benefit information
  • Clean and stock treatment rooms, office, and maintain inventories
  • Basic front office duties

Candidates must have:

  • Medical Assistant experience - 1 year
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) and basic computer skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Punctual, Multitasking and Self-motivated Team Player
  • Friendly, Professional Demeanor

Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 32-36 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Starting at $18.00/hr and negotiable depending on experience.
