The Outage Services Division is seeking a sourcing professional. The candidate would be responsible for meeting the sourcing needs of the Outage Services Division.
Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage from start to finish the sourcing process for Outage Service division suppliers and subcontractors which include but are not limited to Grit blasting, non-destructive examination, induction bolt heating, crane and rigging services, etc....
- Lead process to obtain competitive subcontractor quotes in support of proposal development and emergent work during outages.
- Responsible for generating, issuing, and changing Purchase Orders: Work closely with Operations and Finance teams to manage changes to POs internally and externally.
- Reconcile all supplier invoicing to existing Purchase Orders and Quotes received.
- Work closely with sites and operations to ensure suppliers arrive to sites on time and prepared as well as manage changes in subcontractor scopes and POs.
- Work with operations, finance and other divisions as needed to ensure qualified suppliers are available to support needs of the business; manage and improve the supplier vendor list; Identify need for new suppliers and possible candidates.
- Develop supplier relationships to enhance understanding of their capabilities, to resolve issues, audit processes, and to reinforce continuous improvement.
- Responsible for adhering to month-end deadlines.
- Develop and provide regular reporting for supplier metrics to monitor performance and savings.
- Provide regular support and communication regarding supplier capacity.
- Minimal travel to business functions, supplier facilities and jobsites will be required.
- BS/BA Engineering, Business, or Management degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ purchasing experience.
- Experience with Kinetic/Epicor preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
- Must be proficient in communication, organization, attention to detail, troubleshooting and team management.
