Loan Processor

A well-established organization is currently seeking a Loan Processor. This is a great opportunity for someone who has 2-3 years of experience in loan processing with excellent customer service skills. We are currently seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our team.
Loan Processor Duties:

• Orders supporting documentation, such as appraisals, verification of employment, verification of deposits, etc.
• Evaluates loan applications for reasonableness and, if needed, escalates files for further evaluation
• Communicates with Borrower to obtain missing documentation
• Reviews files for completeness and obtains documentation needed to clear conditions
• Prioritizes work flow so loans close on time

• Communicates with title company, appraiser, and other vendors as required
• Provides excellent customer service to borrower, loan officer, vendors, and other interested parties
• Files are already underwritten when they come across the Processor's desk.

• Ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with borrowers in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
• Contact each borrower in a timely manner to introduce yourself and go over the process and items needed
• Maintain current knowledge about the industry, market trends, competitive position, etc.
• Strive to achieve and exceed productivity expectations and standards
• Read, interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures
• Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts

Loan Processor Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Working knowledge of Encompass software
• Experience in the mortgage loan industry is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge of loan processes and documents is ideal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
