Shipping Clerk

MDI Worldwide is looking for candidates to work in our Shipping Clerk position.  Our marketing displays deliver exceptional retail and consumer-immersion experiences.  We work with some of the biggest names in retail, fashion, petroleum, quick service restaurants and you will take pride in knowing you made a difference.

Work Schedule Shift :          9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., plus mandatory overtime as needed.

Principle Responsibilities:
  • Create Bills of Lading and Shipping Labels.
  • Obtain freight quotes.
  • Run packing lists and coordinate paperwork.
  • Create customs documentation for international shipping.
  • Prepares bills of lading and tickets for shipments. 
  • Exemplifies a professional work demeanor upholding the Company Core Values.
  • Interacts and works cross-functionally with others.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Skills
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shipping Clerk, and/or related position.
  • Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and AS400/Mac Pac.
