Position Overview
Sales Associate/Assistant – We are in search for an enthusiastic, energetic, proactive individual to join our team in Las Vegas. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations such as sales, customer service, inventory/replenishment, warehouse duties, logistics, etc. and may change depending on the needs of the company and the branch. The optimal candidate will possess the skill, motivation, flexibility, and the determination to strive for the utmost excellence within our growing organization. Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales – Develop customer relationships using product knowledge and experience while delivering excellent service. Grow revenue and achieve sales targets by introducing new products to customers, providing job materials, discussing projects, solution design, etc.
- Customer Service – Maintain a professional, cool, calm, and collected demeanor when assisting new/existing customers, partners, and vendors who may call and/or visit daily while simultaneously providing service excellence.
- Data Entry & Document Creation – Production of new templates, documents, spreadsheets, collateral, etc.; input information on various docs, emails, forms, lists, database, website, etc.
- File Organization – Keep file library and folders neat and in order; organize/move/discard files as necessary.
- Visual Display – Work with management in ensuring sales floor appealing layout, product display aesthetics, product signage information accuracy, etc.
- Warehouse & Inventory – Accountable for inventory both on the shelf and in the warehouse. Replenish dwindling sales floor quantities, point-of-sale accuracy, etc.
- Procurement & Logistics – Assist management with sourcing, price negotiation, and ordering materials, equipment, and supplies for customers, the branch, and intra-company transactions.
- Returns & RMA’s – Manage and execute customer returns within policy, dissatisfaction, and defective product within warranty period per each supported manufacturer. Process return merchandise authorizations of defective/damaged equipment from beginning to finish.
- Logistics – Receive/send mail, packages, marketing collateral, etc. as needed.
- Duties & Responsibilities may change depending on the needs of the company and the branch.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience with low voltage (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, networking, pro a/v, etc.), electrical, and/or technical products, systems, projects, installations, troubleshooting, service, etc.
- 1 years of experience in a professional office setting
- 2 years computer literacy, smart phone apps, websites, email, type 30 wpm, etc.
- 1 years competence and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and/or Google Docs, point-of-sale, accounting software, communication apps, etc. highly preferred
- Self-starter able to work proactively, under pressure, with minimal supervision on simple to complex workloads, and follow through on tasks to from initiation to completion
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excels at multitasking, be able to manage interruptions and get back on task frequently and successfully throughout each work day
- Excellent customer/co-worker responsiveness and follow-through skills
- Able to receive instruction and discipline professionally, adapt and adopt, and immediately execute corrective course of action as management deems necessary
- Must learn and support the evolutionary organizational policies, procedures, workflows, and understand what is IP/confidential and protect it appropriately
- Warehouse and/or forklift experience a plus, but not required
- High School diploma or equivalent education required
- MUST speak English, MUST be authorized to work in the USA
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired, but not required
- Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior distribution/wholesale/resale/retail experience
- Effective working collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously

- Experience in IT, Electrical, or Low Voltage is a plus, however we are open to smart, fast learners.
