Overview
Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a full-time position is available for an experienced Senior Architect. This position would lead project teams focused on delivering architecture, engineering and planning services for government architecture projects.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include leading interdisciplinary aviation projects of all sizes as the Senior Architect; coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members; and working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners. Assist Project Manager with pursuing projects; coordinating and leading project teams; building and maintaining strong client relationships; developing and executing project workplans; scheduling and facilitating team and client meetings; developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university
- At least 12 years of relevant experience of which two must be at the project architect level
- Licensed in the state office is located
- NCARB Certified
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- Experience leading interdisciplinary design projects
- Experience with state and local government projects
- Experience with aviation or federal government projects is a plus.
- Ability to lead project pursuits.
- Business development experience – seeking out and following through on new project opportunities
- LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional
