Maintenance Supervisor

HVAC certification required . CAMT & CPO a plus!

Position expectations, requirements and responsibilities can include:

• * Assists in the solution of maintenance problems
• * Responsible for inventory of parts and supplies needed for immediate repairs
• * Purchases all maintenance supplies and materials in a cost efficient manner
• * Schedules work orders, both within and outside of domiciles
• * Completes move-in and move-out inspections
• * Coordinate make ready operations with Property Manager to ensure that vacant units are made ready in a timely manner and available when needed.
• * Maintains shop, equipment rooms and storage areas in a neat, organized and secure condition
• * Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
• * Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required to conduct the job
• * Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment
• * Actively participates in performing work order maintenance repairs and make-ready units
• Maintenance Responsibilities:
• * Obtains thorough knowledge of power, water and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants* Assists in all aspects of the property's maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance
• * Performs on-call, evening and weekend emergency response
• * Repairs structural wear and damage to buildings
• * Prepares vacant apartments
• * Services appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
