All members of the Food & Beverage staff at Meadowood are professionals in their specific area of service, students of wine and the art of hospitality and are passionate about learning. They come to Meadowood to work in their profession at the highest level for which they are trained and to continue their evolution as culinary and wine service professionals.
- Serve guests and assist co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Willingness to perform service in any of our outlets and in Banquets.
- Take beverage/food orders from customers.
- Handle special guest requests in a caring and attentive manner.
- Be responsible for collecting payment for all food and beverage served.
- Ability to run station through proper steps of service as detailed by departmental guidelines and direct Server Assistants to accomplish tasks.
- Supervise Server Assistants on the floor, making sure that they execute the proper training they have received.
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings as scheduled.
- Make supervisor aware of guests’ comments and complaints.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with guests and co-workers during high-pressure times.
- Ability to converse professionally with guests.
- Display knowledge of service standards and procedures.
- Exhibit knowledge of cocktails, wine, beverage, and food menu.
Experience Required
Two years food and beverage experience
