Fuser:

As a crucial member of our field crew, the Fuser plays a vital role in constructing, installing, and maintaining piping systems for natural gas utilities. This position is a DOT OQ Gas Pipeline qualified role, requiring expertise in the use of various fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures. The duties of a Fuser can be physically demanding, involving work in an outdoor construction setting.

• Construct, install, and maintain piping systems for natural gas utilities.
• Support the crew by operating equipment and contributing to labor efforts as needed.
• Join piping through fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupled joints.
• Load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized worksite, free from unnecessary hazards.
• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Secure the work site to ensure public safety and the safety of equipment and materials.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent Military service.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
