Job Posting for Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Holland at MED-1 Occupational Health Services
MED-1 is looking for great people to join our team! As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative and patient care support to ensure efficient operation of MED-1. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Triage patients and document basic medical history
Organize and schedule appointments
Update and file medical records
Check with patients and type up patients charts
Assist during medical examinations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Provide a variety of services including; drug screens, venipuncture, immunizations, audio and vision testing, EKG, PFT, and x-ray.
Skills
Proven working experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist
Knowledge of patient management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
