Field Avionics Technician - Fixed Wing and Rotorcraft
HIRING IMMEDIATELY! AVIONICS TECHNICIAN - FIXED WING and ROTORCRAFT
FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY in Yuma, AZ
$61,475 - $90,225 (starting pay) Depending on experience
*$10k sign-on AND 14% GEO stipend available!!*
We are hiring for a Field Avionics Technician that will perform their duties and responsibilities as listed below in support of the company's 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station and 14 CFR Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate. They will be expected to possess the experience and knowledge listed in the Minimum Qualification section below to ensure the maintenance and alterations performed on company aircraft are in accordance with the appropriate technical data and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Travel is strongly desired. Technician must be willing to traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICAIONS:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Current FAA Airframe certificate required, highly preferred A&P with I/A
• Valid state issued Driver's License
• 3 years Fixed Wing and/or Rotorcraft field maintenance experience
• Field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex Fixed Wing and/or Rotorcraft operated under 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station and /or air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate
• Documented experience performing avionics systems installations in modern complex aircraft
• Must be able to successfully complete FAA - DOT drug and alcohol testing program
• Relevant experience maintaining aircraft systems and / or avionics systems on Airbus, Bell, AgustaWestland, Beechcraft, Pilatus, and Cessna aircraft
• Ability to travel between bases to support maintenance needs is required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
• Provide on-site maintenance support for our fleet of Airbus, Bell, AgustaWestland, Beechcraft, Pilatus, and Cessna aircraft
• Field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex Rotorcraft and / or Fixed Wing operated under both 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station and air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate
• Documented experience performing avionics systems installations in modern complex aircraft.
• Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
• Ability and willingness to gain a thorough knowledge of the company's maintenance operations and guidelines manual, SOP manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
• Ability and willingness to work, days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24 hours a day during the scheduled duty period assigned
• Possess honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft
• Computer skills to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Travel between bases to support maintenance needs is required
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
