You will be responsible for providing overall leadership in the Test Automation process, serving as the subject matter expert and supporting the testing of complex medical device software systems to improve efficiency and efficacy. You will take ownership of projects, define test strategy, automation infrastructure and maintain test documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks in addition to organizing the construction and structure of test protocols.
- Establish test methodologies, documentation, and acceptance criteria for manual testing or test automation frameworks.
- Analyze architecture and designs to identify test automation strategies to provide full test coverage for new and / or existing features.
- Develop automated test scripts that verify system functionality.
- Communicate results in status to assigned project team.
- Represent Test Automation team in project meetings.
- Mentor and distribute work accordingly among other more junior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS- 8 years of experience in a Software Test Automation role.
- Experience reviewing system and software requirements for completeness and testability
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools.
- Ability and desire to flex into manual protocol authoring and test execution as project requirements dictate.
- Expertise with scripting languages such as Python.
- Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot, TestComplete, Squish.
- 5 years of professional background with GIT revision control and software development methodologies.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development, Behavioral Driven Development, and data-driven test practices.
- Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
PREFERRED SKILLS- Project organization and planning to identify strategy, approach and implementation steps and time estimates
- The ability to identify and communicate important metrics to project stakeholders.
- Understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
- Background developing requirement-based test protocols.
- Experience with traceability.
- Versed with converting manual-based test protocols to automated scripts.
EDUCATION- BS Degree, Computer Science or Computer Engineering OR equivalent years of production experience.
