Your core responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Local Networks and Active Directory.
  • Mentors and supervises Helpdesk Technicians with computer and network troubleshooting techniques.
  • Monitors and prioritizes helpdesk tickets and ensures issues and requests are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with the IT Team to plan, design, document, and implement various systems including desktop and laptop computers, servers, network equipment, telephone systems, disaster recovery and data backups, and co-locations.
  • Monitors usage to ensure security of data and access privileges.
  • Maintains Active Directory user accounts and group policies to ensure security, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs.
  • Performs on-site and remote technical support to all computer users as required.
  • Monitors and maintains copiers and printers.
  • Maintains excellent communication with the management team on all tasks and projects to build and sustain a positive, cross-functional team rapport.
  • Creates and/or maintains technical documentation including network diagrams.
  • Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
  • Supports Video Conferencing for all offices in the MTI America Network.
  • Installs and tests computers and related network hardware.
  • Assists in developing and coordinating future network replacement/growth plans.
  • Performs ongoing network and server production, configuration, maintenance, and management
  • Manages anti-virus server, monitoring and reporting on updates and statistics on server and workstations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum must-haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) a plus.
  • 3 years’ experience involving work in system administration of workstations, servers, and security with emphasis on Active Directory.
  • Office365 Administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude and maximum discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable, responds to management direction, and ability to adjust to constant change.
