Responsible for content assembly, design, printing, and distribution of all programs and inserts not included in the weekly program books.
Also responsible for design, publication, and maintenance of the online program book.
Responsibilities
Primary function of this position is the design and layout of programs and inserts using InDesignControl of 160 concert programs, program inserts, Texts and Translations pages, and other publicationsAssembles, prepares, and confirms all concert program information with Staff inside the Artistic departmentReports directly to Editor-in-Chief, Programs, and works in close coordination with the Assistant Program Book EditorCollects, edits, and proofreads student and faculty biographiesMaintains printing production schedule with local printing businessesCreates and updates archive and index of programsPrepares and publishes online version of Program BookRequirements
Skill with Adobe InDesign, or ability to quickly become skilled, is required.Familiarity with basic principles of web design is recommended.
Knowledge of classical music and foreign languages are assets.The ideal candidate will be an effective and well-organized communicator.
Extreme devotion to detail is required.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, and as part of a tight-knit team;
weekend and evening work is occasionally needed.

Compensation
$12.00 / hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $4.45 / hour depending on location.) Overtime $21.63 / hour
Benefits include AMFS season pass and paid sick time.
