Saint Mary's College is seeking a talented Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Description
The Marketing and Communications Specialist contributes to the strategic goals of the Marketing and Communications Department, supporting the team by increasing efficiencies and organizing activities within the broader Advancement Division.
updating web content and tracking analytics; tracking department key performance indicators; updating and managing photo library and other department databases; and basic writing tasks.
The Marketing and Communications Specialist processes invoices for payment, track expenses, assist in monitoring department budgets, prepare expense and purchasing card reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities, and perform general administrative tasks such as maintaining records and files;
making appointments and arranging meetings; managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining departmental office supplies, etc.
as well as having a working knowledge of the use and maintenance of office equipment, including printers, computers, software, etc.
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will assist with project management and coordination, including updating and maintaining project calendars and communications with College partners, tracking key department technology, such as cameras, lights, department cell phone, and basic copywriting and content generation, as needed.
This position will update and manage digital asset management system and video library, provide key support in the use of Trello project management tool, and update content on the website and track key website analytics, with progression of responsibility as skills advance.
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will prepare and send recurring email campaigns using iModules email software, regularly collaborate with team in brainstorming sessions on various projects, and maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the public.
