A typical day in the role includes the following tasks :
Creating estimates for the customerSetting up job filesCreating purchase orders and ordering productsCommunicating with designer and / or customer on status of ordersScheduling deliveries and payment methodAct as primary point of contact for customers in the showroomAssuming delegated administrative tasks (scheduling deliveries, entering orders) in an effective mannerProblem solving and handling a number of tasks with flexibility and adaptability to change based on current needsKeeping literature, samples and showroom clean and up-to-dateRequirements
Experience in administrative duties and cabinetry design or construction experience preferredPassion for design (i.e. interiors, colors, styles) preferredHigh attention to details and strong organizational skillsRequires problem solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, ExcelMathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divideGreat customer service skills are a must, customer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of clientsRequires great oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and clientsWillingness to work with a teamRequires travel for trainings
