Duties of the Machine Designer include :
Work with customers to determine equipment design needsDesign of machinery to customer specificationMake design changes and modifications to improve quality and efficiency of machineryPerform calculations to determine equipment capabilityDetermine layout of components within machineWork with customers and other manufacturing departments to ensure designs meet customer needs
Requirements for the Machine Designer you must have :
A degree or training in engineeringPrevious experience with machinery or equipment designSolidWorks design experience
